Dr. Weiss is an Otolaryngologist, ear nose and throat specialist and head and neck surgeon. Dr. Weiss is specially trained in the medical and surgical diagnosis and treatment of sinus, nasal, allergy, hearing and head and neck disorders for both adults and children. Dr. Weiss provides care for a wide range of disorders including chronic sinusitis, sinus headache, allergic rhinitis, nasal obstruction, deviated nasal septum, chronic tonsillitis, chronic ear infections, hearing loss, thyroid and parathyroid disorders, and salivary gland disease. Dr. Weiss has a particular interest in sinus disease and is a skilled sinus surgeon offering state of the art diagnostic and minimally invasive office surgical treatment.
Dr. Weiss has been practicing in Corpus Christi and serving the local community since 2008. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Texas State University. He received his M.D. from the University of Texas Medical Brach in Galveston, and graduated in the top of his class. He did his surgical residency at Southern Illinois University where he completed 2 years of General Surgery training and 4 years of Otolaryngology training. Throughout his academic career Dr. Weiss has received multiple honors and achievements. He has served in many leadership roles at local hospitals by acting on medical committees, published academic peer reviewed literature, and given numerous talks and presentations at national and international academic meetings. He is licensed by the Texas State Medical Board and is Board Certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology. He remains active both in the community and in many professional organizations, and is eager to take on the individual needs of patients with compassion, efficiency, and excellence.
